For companies

Full control of the fleet.

Every fill-up on the right vehicle, the admin done for you and audit-ready CO₂ data per vehicle — without replacing your fleet.

  • Nothing is installed in the car
  • Works with the vehicles you already have
  • CSRD data per vehicle

Figures apply to Sweden and are in Swedish kronor. Vireno launches in Sweden first — more countries to follow.

Revisionsklar Scope 1-bränsledata per fordon — exporteras automatiskt.

Demo with made-up numbers — the view is real, the customer and the amounts are not.
Every fill-up on the right vehicle
No one can fuel a private car on the company account.
Deviations are flagged immediately
A fill-up that does not add up shows in the log the same second — not at the monthly reconciliation.
The CSRD record builds continuously
Scope 1 per vehicle, traceable to every fill-up. Ready when the year ends.

Three leaks we plug

The driver barely notices. The finance department does.

The wrong vehicle

Every fill-up automatically lands on exactly the right vehicle.

Shrinkage at the pump

Fill-ups that do not add up are flagged immediately. The effect shows where it can be measured: in the cost per kilometre.

The wrong fuel

You set the rule — only HVO100, for example. If you set none, Vireno blocks nothing.

And nothing else slips through. The card only approves fuel and charging — sweets, car washes and kiosk purchases are blocked.

Worked example (illustrative)

A company with 1,000 vehicles — what is there to gain?

Admin and sustainability reporting alone add up to millions of kronor per year, before we have even counted the fuel deal itself.

Admin saved: 1,000 vehicles × ~3,000 kr
≈ 3.0 MSEK/year
CSRD and reporting value
≈ 0.5 MSEK/year
Total, on top of the fuel savings
~3.5 MSEK/year

The figures are illustrative and rounded — calculated on assumptions, not measured at a customer. The actual outcome depends on your fleet and is set in the agreement.

Proof, not words

A green profile is worth exactly as much as the proof behind it. Every fill-up and charge is tied to the right vehicle, so the sustainability report rests on traceable figures instead of assumptions. Electric vehicles also normally fall under Scope 2 rather than Scope 1 — and charging is logged on the same rails as fuel, so the effect of electrification shows in black and white.

The requirements — and how Vireno meets themCSRD, the reduction obligation, greenwashing and the driving log.
CSRD / Scope 1
The requirement
Large companies must report direct emissions (Scope 1) under ESRS E1 — including fuel combustion in owned and leased vehicles, per vehicle and audit-ready.
What it means
Done by hand, that means chasing receipts, guessed consumption and hired consultants — and an auditor who wants to see traceable records. The largest companies remain in scope even after the 2026 Omnibus adjustments.
How Vireno solves it
Automatic CO₂ and Scope 1 data per vehicle, tied to actual fill-ups, plus the measured renewable share. The vehicle part of the report is ready when the year ends.
The reduction obligation
The requirement
Fuel suppliers must blend renewables into petrol and diesel — 10 % during 2026. The obligation is on the supplier, not on you.
What it means
Ordinary pump diesel contains only the statutory renewable share. If you want to show a real emission reduction, filling up with “diesel” is not enough.
How Vireno solves it
The fuel type is registered per fill-up and the actual renewable share is calculated. The emission reduction becomes measured instead of assumed — and can be substantiated backwards, fill-up by fill-up.
Proof against greenwashing
The requirement
Claiming a green profile requires proof per fill-up and charge. Otherwise the claim is greenwashing.
What it means
An ordinary fuel card only shows “diesel” on the receipt regardless of what came out of the pump. Without proof per fill-up, the claim stands on loose ground.
How Vireno solves it
Every fill-up is tied to the right vehicle and the actual renewable share is registered. Every litre and kWh becomes a traceable entry.
Driving log & mileage allowance
The requirement
Mileage allowance, travel deductions and benefit exemption rest on a driving log that holds up to scrutiny. A finished driving log — without anyone filling anything in.
What it means
Handwritten logs are the classic weakness in an audit — they get forgotten, filled in afterwards and rarely hold up to scrutiny.
How Vireno solves it
The driving log and expense report are built automatically at every fill-up and charge, and exported to Visma or Fortnox.

Background material, not legal advice — several rules are changing. Have a lawyer and a tax or sustainability adviser review before you act on it.

The targets you are measured against by 2030Sweden and the EU, in brief.
  • Sweden: transport −70 % by 2030

Domestic transport must cut emissions by at least 70 % by 2030, compared with 2010.

  • Sweden: net zero by 2045 at the latest

Net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045 at the latest, negative emissions thereafter.

  • EU: −55 % by 2030

Fit for 55 — at least 55 % lower greenhouse gases by 2030 compared with 1990.

  • EU: only zero-emission new cars from 2035

From 2035, only new zero-emission passenger cars may be sold in the EU.

Honestly, about the price of renewable fuelIt is more expensive. We say so outright.

Renewable fuel usually costs a few kronor more than fossil for every litre. We push the premium down as far as the combined volume allows, but we never claim it is cheaper than fossil.

The raw material is also limited — renewable diesel is often made from residues such as used cooking oil and fats, and aviation and shipping want the same litres. That is why renewable fuel is a bridge, not the destination.

Electricity is the destination. The same system, the same data and the same reporting come along when you electrify — you do not change systems when you change drivetrain.

Less administrationReceipts, expense reports, tax and VAT.

Receipts → finished invoice. All fill-ups are synced automatically and become an invoice tied to the right vehicle and agreement. No chasing receipts, no manual reconciliation.

Expense reports automatically. The driving log and expense report are created without manual work and exported to Visma or Fortnox.

The right tax and VAT. Audit-proof driving logs mean that benefit value, VAT and deductions rest on actual data instead of guesses.

Estimated at roughly 3,000 kr per vehicle and year in saved admin time — illustrative, and depending on how you handle it today.

Fleet data to decide onWhich vehicles to replace first.

Consumption and cost per vehicle and driver show which kilometres are the most expensive and which vehicles ought to be phased out first.

Real driving patterns show which vehicles are suited to switch to electric first — short, regular routes pay off fastest.

Electricity, charging and V2GWhat happens when the fleet goes electric.

The same control, the same data and the same reporting apply to charging. You do not change systems when you change drivetrain.

An electric car stands still most of the day. With V2G it can feed electricity back to the building or the grid when demand is high, and charge when electricity is cheap. The technology is early — hardware, OEM support and battery warranties are not yet solved — but the direction is clear.

What we earn beyond running the company builds new charging. If you drive through Vireno, you help finance the build-out — a concrete part of your own sustainability story, without your drivers having to do anything extra. And the honest part: we are not profitable yet.Read our pledge
