Privacy policy
We keep it simple and honest: we collect as little as possible, store it within the EU/EEA and you decide. This page covers the data you provide when you sign up as a premium member.
What we collect
When you sign up as a premium member we store your email address and, if you fill it in, your first name. Nothing more. We do not ask for a personal identity number, postal address or payment details at this stage. We do not store your IP address.
Why we store it
We use the data to inform you about Vireno, about your place in the funding round and when the service opens. The legal basis is your consent, which you give when you tick the box.
Where the data is stored
The data is stored within the EU/EEA and is not transferred outside the EU/EEA. We do not pass it on to third parties for their own marketing.
For how long
We delete your sign-up automatically 365 days after you submitted it. That is not an ambition but a limit in our code: a job in the service goes through the list every six hours and removes what has passed the limit. If you ask us to remove your data sooner, we do so when we read your request, and it is then gone from storage — not hidden.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe at any time and ask us to erase your data (art. 17), request to know what data we hold about you (art. 15) and withdraw your consent (art. 7.3). You also have the right to object and to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) — or to the data protection authority in the country where you live. It costs nothing and you do not need to give a reason.
