Green freedom.
Vireno gathers fuelling and charging in one place and makes it cheaper at our partners. What we earn beyond running the company goes into building new charging.
Why Vireno?
From the Latin viridis — green. The direction we build towards.
An open ending that rings free — freedom and forward motion.
The freedom to fuel and charge cheaper, and to choose where and how you drive — without being locked in. The green part is our job, not yours.

The numbers have to add up
Everything we want to build — charging hubs, solar, V2G — costs money before it earns money. So we have a simple rule: we invest in it when the business carries it, not before.
The fuel business and the subscriptions. What is meant to carry the company.
Charging infrastructure, micro-generation and green start-ups — financed by phase 1.
Phase 2 is direction, not a promise. We show the direction — and then actual kronor, when there are kronor to show.
We are building towards the 2030 goals
Sweden has decided that emissions from domestic transport must fall by at least 70 percent by 2030 compared with 2010. According to Sweden's environmental objectives, today's policy instruments are not enough to get there. We want to be part of the solution.
Goal 13 – Climate action
What we earn beyond running the company goes into building new charging.
Goal 9 – Industry, innovation and infrastructure
We want to co-finance fast chargers along the roads, where drivers stop briefly, charge and drive on.
Goal 11 – Sustainable cities and communities
The charging points are to be built together with associations, municipalities and other partners.
Goal 17 – Partnerships for the goals
We never want to build alone – we want to cover a share and help find the rest.
Sources: Sweden's environmental objectives (the interim target for domestic transport) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
We build all security and data handling to the ISO 27001 standard – the goal is for Vireno to be certified.
If you want to know more
How the electricity business will make moneyA thin headroom per kilowatt-hour — with flexibility and infrastructure on top.
The fuel business carries itself today. On electricity there is headroom per kilowatt-hour at connected stations, but it is thin — squeezed public charging, a volatile electricity price and expensive cars. Most of it goes to the customer, too. That is why the electricity side rests on flexibility and infrastructure rather than on what each kilowatt-hour yields.
V2G and grid services
A fleet of parked electric cars is a virtual power plant. When the car stands still, the battery can sell flexibility back to the grid. Vireno aggregates and takes a share — the battery becomes an asset instead of only a cost.
Smart charging
Charge when the electricity price is low, avoid the expensive hours. Vireno optimises and the customer saves — the value lies in the saving, not in the price per kilowatt-hour.
Solar and micro-generation
The kilowatt-hour with the lowest cost is the one you generate yourself. We want to finance, install and operate solar generation at selected sites and share the revenue with the property or fleet owner.
Our own sites
In the right places we step in as charging operator with charging, solar and battery combined. Infrastructure we own a piece of, not just connect an app to.
- V2G is early — hardware, OEM support and battery warranties are not yet solved.
- Infrastructure is capital-heavy and takes time to pay back.
- Revenue from grid services depends on a market we do not control ourselves.
Green start-upsA small, deliberate share of the profit.
We want to direct part of the profit as venture capital to newly started companies with innovative technology in green mobility and energy — charging technology, energy storage, micro-generation and smart electricity control.
Direction, not an investment promise. Share and selection are set only once the core business shows a profit to distribute.
